Using 29 video tracks with different sounds, I recreated the instrumental to "Cheap Thrills" by Sia, This project required a lot of attention to detail and tedious editing.

Lynn Valley Mall - A Video Essay

I paid close attention to capturing the ugly elements of Lynn Valley Mall when filming this video. It started a joke; but after completion, I had developed a genuine dislike for the mall.

Argyle Day Ads (3)

When Argyle was running a one day special event, I was contacted to make advertisement videos to promote it. I created three separate adverts (one based on the 2010 'you gotta be here'; the second a soccer trick shot; and the third, a rap song) which several people approached me about afterwards.

"Bout the Edits" A Song Parody/ Music Video

I created a music video for a parody song I wrote about mistakes I made and learned from when editing many videos. I focused on having the viewer's attention constantly grabbed from different cuts, moving shots, and movement within the frame.

Argyle - A French Rap

In French, I wrote a rap song with my friends about Argyle Secondary, and some of the facilities the school has to offer. Working with others is very rewarding, especially when you're in charge.

"Frappe God" Music Video Parody of Eminem's "Rap God"

The most technically challenging song I have worked on; this parody of Eminem's "Rap God" contains the fast section of the song at 2:10 and lots of little filming/editing tricks I learned in the process of making it.

Chinese Hip Hop Rap

This song I made as a joke, but then a few weeks later I made a video to accompany it. There are some places I believe I could do better now, for example in the video above I looked at what I wasn't fully satisfied with in this project, and applied it in the creation of "Frappe God"

Corporal Punishment - Francais

This video, originally a 15 minute controversy piece on corporal punishment, I cut it down to the main shots. It was the first time that I had ever tried to make shots look nice: in lighting and color.

Biomimimicry: Bullet Trains and Kingfishers

My first ever video project, I created this video about the kingfisher influencing the bullet train's design in grade 9. This project laid the foundations of all the many other videos I have made, and it was here that I started to develop an editing workflow.

Les Chinois au Colombie Britannique

A year after the Kingfisher project, I made this video about early Chinese immigrants to BC. It can be noted that I:
-Improved Sound (the rather conspicuous mic in the opening)
